Ingredients

  • 1 banana – frozen
  • 1 cup chopped strawberry – frozen
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup almond milk
  • Sliced fresh strawberry
  • Sliced banana
  • 1 tablespoon slice almond

Instructions

  • Put 1 banana, 1 cup strawberry and 1/2 cup of almond milk in the blender and blend until smooth. Add more almond milk if the mixture is too thick and cannot blend.
  • Pour smoothie into a bowl, garnish with slices of fresh strawberry, banana and slice almond for crunch.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

1. I have a Ninja blender with individual cup and I find the big blender doesn’t do a good job with a thick smoothie like this, the smaller cup attachment is better.
2. I sliced and froze the banana and fresh strawberries the night before for this smoothie. You could also use fresh fruits, but I prefer the ice cream like texture with the frozen fruits.
