Honey Butter

Super easy Honey Butter flavored with a secret ingredient to give it a little spice and a little tang. Find out what it is and how to make your flavored butter more spreadable right out of the fridge too!

Ingredients

  • 4 oz unsalted butter 113 g, room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon apple butter
  • A pinch of salt
  • 3 - 4 tablespoon oil optional, vegetable or canola

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients into a small bowl and whisk until smooth. Store in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • Oil is optional to keep butter from completely solidifying in the refrigerator. Adding oil to the recipe will allow butter to be more spreadable right out of the fridge. However, if not using oil, you can just let the butter soften for 15 - 30 minutes at room temperature before serving.
  • Try other flavors: pear butter, pumpkin butter, cinnamon, other spices and spice mixes, maple syrup, flavored simple syrup.
