- 4 oz unsalted butter 113 g, room temperature
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon apple butter
- A pinch of salt
- 3 - 4 tablespoon oil optional, vegetable or canola
- Oil is optional to keep butter from completely solidifying in the refrigerator. Adding oil to the recipe will allow butter to be more spreadable right out of the fridge. However, if not using oil, you can just let the butter soften for 15 - 30 minutes at room temperature before serving.
