Two-ingredient homemade Chocolate Covered Macadamia Nuts are so easy to make and you can customize with the chocolate of your choosing. They are the perfect snacks or edible gifts that will remind you of the Hawaiian island vibes.
4ouncechocolate melting wafersdark or white, 113 g
¼ - ⅔cupmacadamia nutsraw or roasted unsalted
Instructions
If using candy molds:
Melt chocolate in a glass bowl placed over a simmering pot of water, stirring with a spatula. When almost all of the chocolate has melted, remove it from the heat and continue to stir until it melts completely and smooth.
Fill candy molds half way with melted chocolate, press two pieces of macadamia nut into the melted chocolate, then cover the entire cavity with melted chocolate.
Refrigerate until hardened.
If not using candy molds:
Melt chocolate in a glass bowl placed over a simmering pot of water, stirring with a spatula. Add macadamia nuts into the bowl of melted chocolate and stir until everything is cover in chocolate.
Scoop the chocolate covered nut clusters onto parchment paper using a teaspoon.
Refrigerate until hardened.
Notes
If not using candy molds, the same amount of chocolate will cover more than double the amount of nuts.
