If you want to drink the sunshine, I suggest you start your day with this Strawberry Orange Smoothie. This 3-ingredient smoothie takes just 5 minutes to make, and is packed full of vitamins and a whole lot of happiness.
Add ingredients for the smoothie into the blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Use additional orange or orange juice for a thinner smoothie.
Transfer to a bowl or a tall glass. Garnish with toppings if making a smoothie bowl.
Serve immediately.
Notes
You can substitute the whole orange with ⅓ to ½ cup of orange juice. Use more as needed to achieve the desired consistency.
If you don’t like bananas, omit and increase the amount of strawberries to 1 ½ - 2 cups. Or replace it with another fruit like pineapple.
Add honey or maple syrup to sweeten if necessary, especially if you’re not using banana.
If you don’t have frozen fruits, add a handful of ice to the blender so you get an iced cold smoothie.
