I’m bringing you a last minute holiday cocktail that takes just minutes to make. Stock your shelf with Pimm’s No. 1, apple cider, sparkling cranberry so you can play bartender and pour your guests this refreshing Cranberry Pimm’s Cup for all of your holiday gatherings. Better yet, set up a self-serve bar with instructions and let your guest pour themselves a Pimm’s cocktail!
How to Make Cranberry Pimm’s Cup
First, let me just say again that Pimm’s No. 1 is my drink of choice. I love the herbal notes in the liquor, which is exceptionally complimentary to all the holiday spices even though the classic Pimm’s Cup is a summer drink. It makes a delicious cocktail when mixed with apple cider and sparkling cranberry juice. Garnish your Pimm’s cocktail with sugared cranberries and you’ve got yourself a festive holiday drink.
This Pimm’s recipe is a simple one, just fill a highball glass with ice. I like to add an orange slice for flavor and as a garnish, pour in Pimm’s No. 1, follow by apple cider, then top the glass off with sparkling cranberry, garnish your drink, stir with your straw and sip away.
The recipe is written for a single glass. You can make a whole pitcher, but it is best if you plan to serve it right away so the bubbles don’t go flat. This Cranberry Pimm’s Cup is not too sweet, and also not too strong. It is the perfect drink to gather around a table and sip on all night long. I hope you’ll enjoy it!
